From Tampa:

From Tampa Airport go south following signs for 275 towards St Petersburg/ Pinellas (there will be several exits and forks in the highway system so simply follow signs for 275 south) you will cross two bays on causeways and eventually you will go over the Sunshine Bridge (30 minutes to this point from the airport). After the bridge continue on 275 south which merges with 75 south. You want 75 south toward Sarasota/Naples. You will continue on 75 south until exit 193 which is Jacaranda Blvd. At the end of the 193 exit ramp go right (west) and follow Jacaranda Blvd for about 15 minutes to the end which is route 776. Take a left on 776 going south and follow into Englewood. Take a right on Beach road (McDonalds on south west corner) go over two bridges and take a left by Crabby George's restaurant and the Public Beach. This is Gulf road. After about a mile you will come to Sand Dollar lane take a right and go to the last house on the left and park to the left of the shed. We are in 45A. From Sarasota:

Exit from the Sarasota airport and go east toward Rt 75. You want 75 south toward Naples. You will continue on 75 south until exit 193 which is Jacaranda Blvd. At the end of the 193 exit ramp go right (west) and follow Jacaranda Blvd for about 15 minutes to the end which is route 776. Take a left on 776 going south and follow into Englewood. Take a right on Beach road (McDonalds on south west corner) go over two bridges and take a left by Crabby George's restaurant and the Public Bridge. This is Gulf road. After about a mile you will come to Sand Dollar lane take a right and go to the last house on the left and park to the left of the shed. We are in 45A. Note: If you live in Sarasota you will find it easier to come south on 41 to 776 and follow directions as noted above once you are on 776.

From Fort Meyers or South: (see note below)

If coming from the south during the day or you are familiar with the area then go north on Rt. 75 and exit at River Road (exit 34). Travel west on River road for about 10 miles until coming to Rt 776. Take a left on 776 going south and follow into Englewood. Take a right on Beach road (McDonalds on south west corner) go over two bridges and take a left by Crabby George's restaurant and the Public Bridge. This is Gulf road. After about a mile you will come to Sand Dollar lane take a right and go to the last house on the left and park to the left of the shed. We are in 45A. Note:

The River Road path is very remote so if you don’t know the area or its late at night go about a mile and half north on Rt 75 to exit 193 and take Jacaranda Blvd east. This is populated and well lit…follow Jacaranda Blvd for about 15 minutes to the end which is route 776. Take a left on 776 going south and follow into Englewood. Take a right on Beach road (McDonalds on south west corner) go over two bridges and take a left by Crabby George's restaurant and the Public Bridge. This is Gulf road.
